Despite CSAT made helicopters being shot down by elements of the British 5 Ranger unit during the Battle of Yolandi, CSAT continues denial of involvement in the conflict.

CSAT Major Halaka Yusuf has been open about CSAT training of RADF forces, but has continued to deny any kinetic aid being given to the RADF. “The NATO imperialist’s who have bombed the innocent civilians of Abramia would like to blame CSAT for any difficulties they have faced. They cannot believe that a revolutionary force of everyday citizens can hurt them. If they continue to provoke the RADF, they will find out how wrong they are.”

AAN news has confirmed that PO-30 Orca transport helicopters, which are a CSAT counterpart to the American Blackhawk, were involved in the Battle of Yolandi and that many were shot down. Captured crewmembers were Abramia citizens according to a 5 Ranger’s press officer, but UN, NATO, and independent watchdogs all agree that CSAT equipment is being used by the RADF.

Further scrutiny has been placed on CSAT following the RADF’s reveal yesterday that they possessed short range ballistic missiles. Though the missiles shown are no longer produced by CSAT, CSAT is believed by Western intelligence agencies to have many of these missiles still in their arsenal.

Major Yusuf refused to comment on the ballistic missiles, but has countered claims that CSAT personel, including ‘Viper Units’, are present on Abramia for anything more than training and advisement.

Our revolutionary brothers know that this it their fight. We have taught them what we know, the rest is up to them. We hope if they cannot find peace with the imperialists, that they shall find victory. Furthermore, no unit or group within CSAT is referred to as ‘Viper’. It is insulting to the hard working men and women of CSAT’s military to insinuate that one group is responsible for many of our special force’s successes.

5 Ranger’s press officer repeated comments that

CSAT is attempting to create instability for their own gain. When the RADF is dismantled, CSAT will have to answer for any evidence that shows they prolonged this unnecessary conflict.
